Yeow Hwee CHUA (蔡耀辉)
Yeow Hwee is an Assistant Professor in Economics at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU). He is also the Deputy Director of the Economic Growth Centre at NTU and the Honorary Secretary of the Economics Society of Singapore.
His research interests lie in the intersection of behavioral macroeconomics, household finance and sustainable finance. His work is dedicated to how beliefs formed under information frictions shape financial behavior and aggregate into macroeconomic risks, especially in the context of demographic and climate transitions.
Prior to his current appointment, he was a visiting Postdoctoral scholar at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He obtained his PhD in Economics from the National University of Singapore and Masters in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is a fellow of the Association Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
